DIY Guide: How To Build An Ozone Generator

1. What You Will Need
Before getting started, here is the DIY ozone generator schematic kit you need.

- A fan and a fan protector—for the ozone to have any effect, you need ventilation.
- A plastic container—you need to place the ozone generator somewhere, which is why you need the container.

- A razor—once you’ve drawn a line to determine where you want to install the circles, you must use the razor to cut through it.
- A wire stripper—since you’re going to be dealing with cables, you need a wire stripper.
- Soldering iron—this tool is essential for this job as you need to make holes for the screws to fit in.
- A screwdriver—when installing the fans, you must screw some bolts.
- A glue gun—once you’ve installed everything, you’re going to need to glue some parts to secure them.
- A cable—to connect the generator to the outlet, you must have a cable. As for the length of this cable, this is up to you.
2. Set Up The Front Side Of The Container
Grab your plastic container and place it on top of a table vertically.
After that, put the fan generator inside the container. It should be against the plastic container on either side.
As you’re holding it against the container’s wall, use a marker, and draw a circle along with the fan generator.
3. Cut The Circle
Here, you want to grab the razor and run it along the circle you drew earlier.
Be careful when using the razor as you might hit your fingers. You should now end up with an empty circle.
Now, just where you made the circle, place the fan against it, and you should be able to see the bolts on each side of the fan.
4. Melt The Circles
Now that you’ve marked the reference area, you’re going to need the soldering iron to make a couple of holes, as that’s where you’ll put the screws to hold the fan together.
So, go ahead and mark those circles as a point of reference.
Once you’ve done that, take your soldering iron and press it against the container to create the holes.
After that, you have to once again place the fan against the hole.
Once you have positioned the fan inside the container, put the fan case on the outside. Grab the screwdriver and thread the screws.
And that’s it for the front side. To install the backside, all you need to do is repeat the same process as before.
5. Install The Ozone Generator
Grab the ozone generator, and place it just in the middle of the plastic container. Now flip the container but keep holding the fan against it.
You now have to mark where the threads go just like you did for the fan on both sides.
Now that you’ve marked the bolts use the soldering iron. After that, thread the bolts together.
6. Install The Switch
Take the switch and put it against the container. Grab the marker and then outline the switch.
After that, take the soldering iron and run it along those lines. From there, place the switch inside the hole.
7. Install The Mechanical Timer Switch
This is not any different from the steps we’ve gone through so far.
You have to take the mechanical timer switch and put it against the container to mark the backside.
This mechanical timer switch must be installed on the same side where you installed the on and off switch.
Otherwise, you’ll have a hard time setting up the wires.
When you’ve outlined the backside, use the razor to cut through the plastic.
After that, put the switch inside. Next, put all the threads in. Make sure to tighten them.
8. Set Up The Wires For The DIY ozone generator
The wire from the mechanical timer switch must be connected to the on and off switch.
The other wire from the timer switch must be plugged into the clamp.
After that, grab the wire from the fan and the ozone generator and then give it a little twist.
From there, please put them in the clamps. Now do the same process for the other cables from the fan and the air purifier.
Now make a hole on the bottom left side where you installed all the switches. Next, slide the large cable through the hole you made.
After that, connect one wire from the AC source to the clamp.
This wire must be connected on the opposite where both the cable from the fan and ozone generator go.
With that out of the way, connect the wire from the AC source to the on and off switch.
9. Use The Glue Gun
Now that you’ve set up the wires, there is just one thing that you must do.
You have to secure the switch and the clamp using the glue gun.
So, go ahead and push the trigger down as you’re holding the glue gun against the object you want to glue.
