In conjunction with Festival of the Photograph,
the LOOK3 WORKSHOPS and PROJECT CRITIQUE SESSIONS are unique
opportunities created to further the development of photographers
at all skill levels. Designed to move you beyond your current
level and help expand your vision, these courses taught by
some of the brightest names in the photography world will
challenge the way you see, feel, think and work. The combinations
of our courses and 3 day festival provide a singular learning
experience that will send you home exhausted, renewed, inspired,
and most importantly—a better photographer.
LOOK3 WORKSHOPS JUNE 7-12
The LOOK3 Workshops promises to be one of the most comprehensive
and exciting learning opportunities for digital photographers
today. Workshop students will spend five days shooting and
creating a body of work under the guidance of one of our master
photographers to be projected in the Paramount Theater. Students
will have access to Canon equipment, learn to work under a
deadline, collaborate with fellow students, study world-class
exhibits, see the best new photo projects being done today,
watch legendary photographers discuss their careers, and network
with people from all over the world. The week-long experience
will be intense and fast-paced with the goal of pushing your
vision and technique to a new level.
The following classes will be offered June 7-12. Each participating
student will receive a Festival Pass for events June 12-14.
Housing and meals are not included in the price of tuition.

LOOK3 PROJECT CRITIQUE SESSIONS June 12 & 13
These in-depth classroom sessions are a unique offering designed
for photographers with a serious body of work ready to take
to the next level. Open to enthusiasts, photo students, and
professionals, these classes are oriented to uncover the seed
of your project, to talk about your approach and point of
view, edit and sequence the work, and identify a strategy
for moving it forward. Each session will be led by professional
photographer Maggie Steber and Time magazine Director
of Photography MaryAnne Golon, who will offer critical insight,
encouragement, and lead group reviews to help you walk away
energized and confident about the future of your project.
